Particleboard is widely used in the manufacture of furniture, cabinets, floor underlayment, laminate flooring, stair treads, shelving and many other products.

Industrial grade particleboard is an ideal substrate for laminated panel construction utilizing various types of overlay surfacing materials. Particleboard in favoured by laminators because of its uniform density, thickness tolerance, as well as surface smoothness. Other board properties such as dimensional stability, strength, stiffness, flatness, screw holding, and workability continue to significantly ease fabrication and enhance product performance.

N&C stocks particleboard from several quality manufacturers ranging in thickness from 7/16" to 1-1/2". Available panel dimensions are 4' and 5' wide by 6' to 12' in length. Mende thin particleboard is available from 3.0mm to 6.4mm.

Particleboard's stability, flatness, smoothness, lack of knots or voids, and ease of laminating make it a major corestock material for countertop production. N&C stocks 30" particleboard in 8' to 12' lengths for countertop production. Custom countertop sizes are also available on a special order basis.
